The Wooden Stetson that’s been quietly stealing everyone’s attention now has a story to match its magic!✨

After months of admiring it (and watching you all admire it too), a bit of serendipity led us to its maker: Donald Wadsworth, a local woodturning artist trained by the legendary JoHannes Michelson. Donald took Michelson’s very first East Coast class back in the 90’s, carved his first wooden hat in 1997, and has made around 200 since - most as gifts, a few for the High Desert Museum, and even one for Tim McGraw.🤠

He also shared with us that his hats are WEARABLE works of art! The one we have is a size 7.
